Program for the Protection of People During Old Age Living in Extreme Poverty
Through PROVEE, poor families which are beneficiaries of Eating First (CPC) with elderly people as members of the household who do not receive pensions or are not working, receive cash transfers without having to meet any specific condition. The program corresponds to the National Council for the Elderly (CONAPE) and is executed by the Administrator of Social Subsidies (ADESS).
Complementing the sustenance of elderly people living in poverty, who do not receive pensions or are not working in order to contribute to maintaining their good nutrition.

Money transfer: The Program provide a monthly aid of DOP$400 (USD$9) to households who are beneficiaries of the subsidy "Eating is First" with people over 65 years old as members of their household who do not receive pensions or are not working in order to buy food.
